Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chat sur le dos (Cat on its back) | 躺著的貓 by Alix Aymé was sold in the La Mystique de L'Indochine auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 18,900.00 (€ 1,993.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alix Aymé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le marché (Market) ; & Studies in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 145,032.71).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.900,00 (€ 1.993,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
