This artwork by Alix Aymé achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Annonce Faite À Marie (The Annunciation By The Angel To The Virgin Mary) sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 19,920.10) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alix Aymé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le marché (Market) ; & Studies in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 145,032.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alix Aymé erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Annonce Faite À Marie (The Annunciation By The Angel To The Virgin Mary) für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 19.920,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00.
