Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 93,600.00 (€ 70,748.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 85,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Omar Ermes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sixth Ode, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 195,750.00 (€ 142,084.63).
