Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work The Lovers by Ali Ghahremani. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 748.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Ghahremani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lovers II, which sold at auction in February last year for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,524.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Lovers von Ali Ghahremani zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 748,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ali Ghahremani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lovers II beobachtet, die im Februar letzten Jahres für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.524,34) versteigert wurde.
