Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
In May this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Alfredo Chighine. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,500.00 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfredo Chighine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Pioggia, which sold at auction in May 2011 for EUR 22,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alfredo Chighine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.500,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Chighine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Pioggia beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 22.350,00 versteigert wurde.
