Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British& Irish Art, which included the work Seated Woman In The Studio by Alfred Wolmark. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,307.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Wolmark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British& Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated Woman In The Studio von Alfred Wolmark zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.307,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
