This artwork by Alfred Wolmark achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2013. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Painted vase sold for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,713.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Wolmark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Disputation in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Wolmark erzielte im Juli 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Painted vase für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.713,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Wolmark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Disputation im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
