Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred Wahlberg could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Classic Sale auction, the work "Stockholm nattetid" (Stockholm by night) changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,494.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfred Wahlberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Torreby by Gullmarsfjorden, which sold at auction in December 2010 for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 13,932.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Wahlberg konnte im Juni 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Classic Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Stockholm nattetid" (Stockholm by night) für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.494,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfred Wahlberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Torreby by Gullmarsfjorden beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 13.932,85) versteigert wurde.
