Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Englische Weidelandschaft by Alfred Vickers for EUR 65.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dekorative Kunst at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 300.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Vickers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sandown Bay; On the Medina, Newport, Isle of Wight in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,234.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Englische Weidelandschaft von Alfred Vickers für EUR 65,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dekorative Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Vickers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sandown Bay; On the Medina, Newport, Isle of Wight im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.736,00 (€ 8.234,11).
