Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bonhams in London held the auction Discovery Online, which included the work Auch ein Todtentanz 6 unframed by Alfred Rethel. It changed hands for a price of GBP 95.63 (€ 111.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 75.00 – 100.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Rethel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skizzenbuch. in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Discovery Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Auch ein Todtentanz 6 unframed von Alfred Rethel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 95,63 (€ 111,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 75,00 – 100,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Rethel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skizzenbuch. im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
