A top price for Alfred Leyman - as previously expected
The work Il Ghetto di Roma by Alfred Leyman was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 1,860.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Il Ghetto di Roma is the most expensive artwork by Alfred Leyman that we have observed at auctions so far.
