Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Le Cultivateur by Alfred Laliberté. The price achieved of CAD 5,700.00 (€ 4,258.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Alfred Laliberté have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Jeunes Indiens Chassant was auctioned for CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,307.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Cultivateur von Alfred Laliberté zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 5.700,00 (€ 4.258,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alfred Laliberté konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Jeunes Indiens Chassant für CAD 11.400,00 (€ 8.307,86) versteigert.
