The work Rêverie by Alfred Guillou was sold in the Tableaux anciens et du XIXème siècle auction at Christies in Paris in June 2019. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,500.00. With this result, Rêverie is even the most expensive work of art by Alfred Guillou that we have observed at auctions so far.
