Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work The Botanical Gardens, Cambridge by Alfred Daniels. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,188.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Daniels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian Card Party in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,761.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Botanical Gardens, Cambridge von Alfred Daniels zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.188,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Daniels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian Card Party im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.761,59).
