Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Palestrina by Alfonso Corradi was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 240.00 – 260.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfonso Corradi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piazza di Bergamo Antica' in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 3,224.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Palestrina von Alfonso Corradi im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 240,00 – 260,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 200,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfonso Corradi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piazza di Bergamo Antica' im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.224,00.
