Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Blossoming Trees on the Farm by Alexis Jean Fournier was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,869.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Jean Fournier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wild Garden, which sold at auction in March 2005 for USD 26,400.00 (€ 20,356.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blossoming Trees on the Farm von Alexis Jean Fournier kam im März 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.869,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexis Jean Fournier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wild Garden beobachtet, die im März 2005 für USD 26.400,00 (€ 20.356,23) versteigert wurde.
