Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Morning On The Coast by Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,668.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At Dusk, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 36,250.00 (€ 49,225.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Morning On The Coast von Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.668,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit At Dusk beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 36.250,00 (€ 49.225,76) versteigert wurde.
