Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View Of Fredensborg Palace by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov was sold in the Important Russian Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 134,500.00 (€ 161,852.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moscow. View of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour from the Kremlin in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,588,500.00 (€ 2,224,310.97).
View of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour from the Kremlin im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.588.500,00 (€ 2.224.310,97).
