Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Steamship On The Don by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov. The price achieved of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 367,077.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moscow. View of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour from the Kremlin in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,588,500.00 (€ 2,224,310.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Steamship On The Don von Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 367.077,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moscow.
