Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work River Landscape by Aleksej Kuzmich Denisov-Uralsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,693.66). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aleksej Kuzmich Denisov-Uralsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Author'S Boat By The High Wooded Bank Of The Chusovaya, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,359.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit River Landscape von Aleksej Kuzmich Denisov-Uralsky im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.693,66) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Aleksej Kuzmich Denisov-Uralsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Author'S Boat By The High Wooded Bank Of The Chusovaya beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 34.359,93) versteigert wurde.
