Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moonlit Winter Landscape by Alexei Kondratievich Savrasov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,249.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexei Kondratievich Savrasov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Volga Near Yurevets in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,265,000.00 (€ 1,783,634.12).

Die Arbeit Moonlit Winter Landscape von Alexei Kondratievich Savrasov wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.249,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexei Kondratievich Savrasov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Volga Near Yurevets im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.265.000,00 (€ 1.783.634,12).
