Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work La Tunique rouge by Alexandre Sacha Garbell. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 216.00 (€ 316.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alexandre Sacha Garbell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2005 the work Boats at dock was auctioned for USD 540.00 (€ 406.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Tunique rouge von Alexandre Sacha Garbell zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 216,00 (€ 316,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Sacha Garbell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2005 die Arbeit Boats at dock für USD 540,00 (€ 406,81) versteigert.
