Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Artcurial in Marrakech held the auction A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art, which included the work Hany au thé - 1944 by Alexandre Roubtzoff. The price achieved of MAD 1,716,000.00 (€ 150,132.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 1,320,000.00 – 1,980,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Roubtzoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bédouine De Tunis, 1935, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 434,258.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Marrakesch die Auktion A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hany au thé - 1944 von Alexandre Roubtzoff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 1.716.000,00 (€ 150.132,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 1.320.000,00 – 1.980.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Roubtzoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bédouine De Tunis, 1935 beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 434.258,00 versteigert wurde.
