Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work A church beyond a river by Alexandre Nozal. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,409.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Nozal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un bateau dècoré à Dives, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,092.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A church beyond a river von Alexandre Nozal zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.409,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Nozal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un bateau dècoré à Dives beobachtet, die im April 2001 für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.092,39) versteigert wurde.
