Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 828.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Minaum Cliffs, Achill Island, County Connaught, Ireland in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,520.20).
