Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexander Sliusarev could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Changing Focus - A Collection of Russian and Eastern European Contemporary Photography auction, the work Six Untitled Works changed hands for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Alexander Sliusarev have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2013 by the work Twelve Untitled Works at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71).
