Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexander Rodchenko could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art of the Soviet Union auction, the work I. Worker, White Sea Canal, Circa 1932 Ii. Construction Of The White Sea Canal, 1933 Iii. Belomor Channel, 1933 changed hands for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,560.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Rodchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construction No.95 in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 3,646,250.00 (€ 4,302,216.51).
In der Auktion Art of the Soviet Union wechselte die Arbeit I. Worker, White Sea Canal, Circa 1932 Ii. Construction Of The White Sea Canal, 1933 Iii.
