A top price for Alexander Rodchenko
In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Construction No.95 by Alexander Rodchenko. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,646,250.00 (€ 4,302,216.51). With this result, Construction No.95 is even the most expensive work of art by Alexander Rodchenko that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construction No.95 von Alexander Rodchenko zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.646.250,00 (€ 4.302.216,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Construction No.95 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexander Rodchenko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
