Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Fellowship by the campfire by Alexander Lauréus was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,344.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Lauréus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Young Lady At Her Toilette in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,934.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Fellowship by the campfire von Alexander Lauréus im Dezember 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.344,95) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Lauréus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Young Lady At Her Toilette im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.934,11).
