Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Russian Landscape With Trees, 1911 by Alexander Bogomazov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 349,000.00 (€ 224,177.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Bogomazov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landschaft mit sitzender Frau., which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 500,000.00.

Die Arbeit Russian Landscape With Trees, 1911 von Alexander Bogomazov wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 349.000,00 (€ 224.177,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden.
