Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figures resting in landscapes (2) by Johann Alexander Thiele was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,632.71). Admittedly, works by Johann Alexander Thiele have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flusslandschaft mit Felsen und Flößern (Elbsandsteingebirge) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figures resting in landscapes (2) von Johann Alexander Thiele kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.632,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johann Alexander Thiele auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flusslandschaft mit Felsen und Flößern (Elbsandsteingebirge) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
