This artwork by Alexander Grinberg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2013. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Nude Study sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,802.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. This high result makes Nude Study the most expensive artwork by Alexander Grinberg that we have observed at auctions so far.
