It achieved a price of GBP 182,500.00 (€ 259,944.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alexander Bogomazov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landschaft mit sitzender Frau. sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of EUR 500,000.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Wanda Monastirskaia-Bgomazova (C.1890-1980) von Alexander Bogomazov kam im November 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 182.500,00 (€ 259.944,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alexander Bogomazov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landschaft mit sitzender Frau. im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 500.000,00.
