Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Festivity Series I by Alexander Boghossian was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,295.00 (€ 1,882.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Boghossian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Composition in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,075.00 (€ 157,032.02).

Die Arbeit Festivity Series I von Alexander Boghossian wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.295,00 (€ 1.882,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
