Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Pierrot'S Dilemma by Alex Duschnitz for USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,461.84). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Alex Duschnitz have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2005 by the work A Trot Through The Park at GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,641.17).

Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pierrot'S Dilemma von Alex Duschnitz für USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.461,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculptures bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Alex Duschnitz wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2005 die Arbeit A Trot Through The Park mit GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.641,17).
