In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady In Russian Costume by Alexei Isupov. The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,431.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexei Isupov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Milliner in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 183,044.74).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady In Russian Costume von Alexei Isupov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.431,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexei Isupov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Milliner im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 183.044,74).
