Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work San Giorgio Maggiore by Alessandro Lupo for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Lupo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Luci Alpine in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit San Giorgio Maggiore von Alessandro Lupo für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Lupo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Luci Alpine im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
