Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alessandro Lupo could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Paesaggio Lacustre changed hands for EUR 7,450.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Alessandro Lupo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2007 by the work Luci Alpine at EUR 12,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro Lupo konnte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Paesaggio Lacustre für EUR 7.450,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Lupo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Luci Alpine mit EUR 12.250,00.
