The auction ended at the price of GBP 600.00 (€ 675.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Castelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idyllic Landscapes in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,130.10).

Die Arbeit Figures in moonlight von Alessandro Castelli kam im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 600,00 (€ 675,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Castelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idyllic Landscapes im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.130,10).
