Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Alena Kučerová was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 1,600.00 (€ 146.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alena Kučerová - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 408.00 (€ 382.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alena Kučerová im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 1.600,00 (€ 146,41) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alena Kučerová mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 408,00 (€ 382,95) versteigert wurde.
