Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Pair Of Maritime Scenes: A Fishing Vessel In Holland; And A Sailing Yacht Near Naples by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2015. The price achieved of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 294,128.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moscow. View of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour from the Kremlin in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,588,500.00 (€ 2,224,310.97).
