Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Wife, Ekaterina Petrovna Samokhvalova by Aleksandr Nikolaevich Samokhvalov for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,441.01). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Aleksandr Nikolaevich Samokhvalov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Field Workers A. Fedorova And A. Egorova in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 445,023.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of The Artist'S Wife, Ekaterina Petrovna Samokhvalova von Aleksandr Nikolaevich Samokhvalov für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.441,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksandr Nikolaevich Samokhvalov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Field Workers A.
