Auction result well in line with expectations
The work By a mountain spring on Ai-Petri by Alexander Alexandrovich Kiselev was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 60,296.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Alexandrovich Kiselev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Georgian Military Highway, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 189,000.00 (€ 221,903.78).
