The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A valley in summertime is the most expensive artwork by Aleksandr Fedorovich Gaush that we have observed at auctions so far.
