The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,679.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aleksandr Alekseevich Borisov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Russian Church In The Village of Nikol'Skoe in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 21,600.00 (€ 17,110.27).
