Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January this year Bonhams held the auction American Art | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Distant Range by Aldro Thompson Hibbard. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,697.00). Admittedly, works by Aldro Thompson Hibbard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Country Store, Rawsonville in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 37,600.00 (€ 44,308.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion American Art | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Distant Range von Aldro Thompson Hibbard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.697,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldro Thompson Hibbard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Country Store, Rawsonville im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.600,00 (€ 44.308,27).
