The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aldo Tagliaferro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Io Ritratto N. 9Signed, Titled And Dated 1977 On The Overlap, Photographic Reproduction On Emulsified Canvas. This Work Is Being Registered By The Archivio Tagliaferro, Milan., which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 17,500.00.
