Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fall and Redemption of Man by Albrecht Altdorfer was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,187.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Albrecht Altdorfer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2017 the work The Spies returning from the promised land (Joshua and Caleb) was auctioned for USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,528.81).

Die Arbeit The Fall and Redemption of Man von Albrecht Altdorfer kam im Januar 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.187,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
