Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny, which included the work Count Halm On His Basedow Estate With Seedorf Manor And The Malachinersee In The Distance by Albrecht Adam. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,067.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albrecht Adam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Das Gefecht bei Pápa am 12. Juni 1809. 1844. in September 2015 with an auction result of CHF 204,500.00 (€ 187,461.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art, Including Property from The Forbes Collection: The Panorama of Champigny durch, in der auch die Arbeit Count Halm On His Basedow Estate With Seedorf Manor And The Malachinersee In The Distance von Albrecht Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.067,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albrecht Adam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Das Gefecht bei Pápa am 12. Juni 1809. 1844. im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 204.500,00 (€ 187.461,39).
