A top price for Albin Egger-Lienz - as previously expected
The work Austrian der Sämann (The Sower) by Albin Egger-Lienz was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 533,792.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Austrian der Sämann (The Sower) is the most expensive artwork by Albin Egger-Lienz that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Austrian der Sämann (The Sower) von Albin Egger-Lienz kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 533.792,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden.
